Last month, we welcomed two new members to the team: Amanda Allan and Ramya Raghu.
After a successful career as Head of Brand PR at British Airways, Amanda has joined us as a consultant Associate Director. Specialising in consumer PR and brand building, Amanda has over twenty years of experience in the communications industry.
Much of Amanda’s career has involved developing large logistical campaigns with multiple stakeholders that place company reputations firmly on the line. These include launching new planes and bringing high profile partnerships to life to managing mergers, multi-billion pound investment announcements and a year-long centenary campaign.
Amanda is a stickler for attention to detail, strategic planning and precision delivery. This approach, combined with a healthy dose of creativity, has led to her work being televised across global broadcast news, featured on the front pages of national newspapers, and trending on social media. Amanda’s in-depth understanding of how effective communication works, combined with a natural project planning mindset, means she can take a holistic approach to every campaign, manage its smooth running, and generate new ideas and solve problems. She is a respected advisor at the CEO and Board level.
Amanda is a mentor on PR Week and Women in PR mentorship programme, aiming to identify, nurture and inspire the next generation of female leaders. She also advises Anxiety UK on a pro bono basis and is a qualified executive image coach.
Ramya Raghu joins us as a Communications and PR executive after studying for her MA in Media and Communications. In her short career, Ramya has already held various roles in media. She has been a trainee journalist at I Stand With, a publishing consultant at Notion Press Media, an Educator at the British Council, and an assistant to the presenter of India’s premier radio station Radio One India.
Ramya brings a comprehensive skillset to Matter PR, including social media marketing, public relations, event management and business development. Ramya is a dependable and flexible team player who is both diligent and organised.
